Agile Training - Creating Effective User Stories
Great agile teams deliver astonishing results. The quickest, most effective way to determine exactly what to build to get those results is through a user story conversation between the people who understand the problem and the people who will solve the problem. Effective user stories capture the most important parts of those conversations in writing, so it can be referenced any time throughout the delivery cycle. A user story is not a new fancy way to write traditional requirements, it’s a fundamentally different way to approach discovering and documenting what to deliver.
This full-day, interactive workshop will cover User Story Mapping, Definitions of Ready and Done, Splitting User Stories, and User Story Fundamentals, along with plenty of opportunities to practice and ask questions.
Drawing from the best of agile principles, product management, and behavior-driven development, Creating Effective User Stories teaches the principles behind user stories, so that anyone involved in product design, story writing, or delivery can improve the quality of their stories and adapt the practices for the unique needs of the product or their organization.
