Flourishing Twin Cities company earns three major honors so far this year
Keyot, a Twin Cities management consulting practice, is now ranked 19th among the top 50 fastest-growing woman-owned companies in the world by the Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO). This list is comprised of multi-million dollar, privately held companies. The companies on this year’s “50 Fastest” list generated a combined $4.4 billion in 2014. Keyot Partner and CEO Laura Kelly accepted the award on May 1 at the Arizona Biltmore Hotel. Keyot was one of only two Minnesota companies to earn a place on this list.
Keyot partners with major corporations – primarily financial services and healthcare companies – to provide well-prepared consultant leaders when their initiatives are larger than their internal team’s capacity. Its services include program management, project management, business process work, business and data analysis, and business intelligence.
This year’s “50 Fastest” applicants were ranked according to revenue growth from 2010 to 2014. From this list, the 50 Fastest were selected. To be eligible, businesses are required to be privately held, woman owned/led companies and must have reached annual revenue of at least $500,000 by year-end 2009.
This criteria make Keyot’s inclusion even more impressive, because the company just launched in 2008. By 2012, its Iowa office opened, led by Partner Cindy Rockwell. This year, Keyot is launching services in Texas and expects to finish at $19 million. By 2017, it is projecting to be at $23 million.
This is only the second time since its inception that the 50 Fastest-Growing Woman-Owned Companies list was opened to applicants on a global level, making Keyot’s appearance on this list still more extraordinary.
In addition to this recognition, Keyot has received two other honors so far this year. It was named one of Minnesota’s 100 Best Companies to Work For. And Kelly was recognized by Minnesota Business magazine as one of Minnesota’s (Real) Power 50.
If this trend continues, Keyot’s lobby might soon need a larger display case in which to showcase its awards.
